Money Panel privacy policy and legal notice

This document sets out the privacy policy and terms of use of the application Money Panel, developed and distributed by Shooting Stars Lab through Google Play.

1. Financial data you enter

Money Panel runs on information stored on the user's own device. Analyses, forecasts and simulations are calculated on the device. The developer has no access to that information, does not receive it on any server and does not share it with third parties.

1.1. Usage statistics and crash reports

To understand how the application is used and to fix errors, Money Panel uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google Ireland Limited. These services may collect:

• Identifiers of the app installation.
• Device model, Android version, app version, language and approximate country.
• Usage events, such as the screens visited or the features used.
• Technical information about errors and unexpected crashes.

This data does not include the amounts, transactions or any other financial information you enter in the application, and it is not used to identify you or for advertising.

The purpose is to keep the application working properly and to improve it, on the basis of the developer's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation). Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards required by law. More information in Google's privacy policy and Firebase privacy information.

1.2. Backups

From the settings you can export an encrypted copy of your data and import it later. The file is saved wherever you choose (device storage, a cloud service, email…). The developer does not receive and has no access to those copies; their safekeeping depends on the place you choose and on that service's terms.

1.3. Biometric protection

If you enable fingerprint access, verification is carried out by Android's biometric system. The application does not access or store your fingerprint: it only receives from the system whether the verification succeeded.

1.4. In-app purchases

Optional paid features are handled entirely through Google Play. The developer never has access to your banking details; billing, renewal and cancellation depend on your Google Play account.

2. Device permissions

The application requests only the permissions needed for the features you use. You can revoke them at any time from the Android settings, bearing in mind that some features will stop being available.

3. Data loss

As the information lives on the device, uninstalling the application or resetting the handset may mean losing it permanently. Exporting backups regularly is recommended.

4. Guidance only

Money Panel's analyses, forecasts, simulations and recommendations are estimates calculated from the data you enter. They are for guidance only and do not constitute financial, tax or legal advice. Before making significant decisions, such as a mortgage, an investment or a sale, check the information with a professional and against real offers and conditions.

5. Licence of use

The user is granted a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to install and use the application. Its decompilation, modification, redistribution or commercialisation without the owner's express authorisation is prohibited.

6. Limitation of liability

The application is provided as is. The developer works to keep it functioning correctly, but does not guarantee the absence of errors or uninterrupted availability, and is not liable for decisions made on the basis of its calculations, for damages arising from improper use or for data loss caused by the user's device.

7. Minors

The application is not aimed at children under fourteen and does not request identifying personal data.

8. User rights

Financial data never leaves your device, so you can view, change or delete it directly in the application, or erase it completely by uninstalling it. Regarding the usage and crash data described in section 1.1, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction by writing to info@shootingstarslab.com. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

10. Applicable law

This document is governed by Spanish law, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Organic Law 3/2018 and Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services.
