Plany
Plany legal notice
This document governs the use of the application Plany, developed and distributed by Shooting Stars Lab through Google Play.
1. Data the application processes
Plany runs on information stored on the user's own device. The developer has no access to that information, does not receive it on any server and does not share it with third parties.
| Data item | Where it is stored | Who can access it |
|---|---|---|
| Events, tasks, habits and goals | Local database on the device | The user only |
| Application preferences | Local storage | The user only |
| Progress, levels and achievements | Local storage | The user only |
This matches the data safety section published on the Google Play listing. If any functionality requiring server-side processing is added in the future, this document and the store declaration will be updated before it is released.
1.1. Google Calendar synchronisation
If you enable synchronisation, the application accesses your Google Calendar through the permissions you expressly grant on the device, for the sole purpose of displaying and managing your events inside Plany. That communication happens between your device and Google: the developer does not act as an intermediary and stores no copy of that data. You can revoke the permission at any time.
1.2. In-app purchases
Optional paid features are handled entirely through Google Play. The developer never has access to your banking details; billing, renewal and cancellation depend on your Google Play account.
2. Device permissions
The application requests only the permissions needed for the features you use. You can revoke them at any time from the Android settings, bearing in mind that some features will stop being available.
3. Backups and data loss
As the information lives on the device, uninstalling the application or resetting the handset may mean losing it permanently. Using Android's own backup system is recommended.
4. Licence of use
The user is granted a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to install and use the application. Its decompilation, modification, redistribution or commercialisation without the owner's express authorisation is prohibited.
5. Limitation of liability
The application is provided as is. The developer works to keep it functioning correctly, but does not guarantee the absence of errors or uninterrupted availability, and is not liable for damages arising from improper use or from data loss caused by the user's device.
6. Minors
The application is not specifically aimed at children under fourteen and does not request identifying personal data.
7. User rights
Since no personal data is collected on the developer's servers, there is no information on which to exercise the rights of access, rectification or erasure. For any privacy enquiry you can write to info@shootingstarslab.com.
8. Applicable law
This notice is governed by Spanish law, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Organic Law 3/2018 and Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services.
9. Changes
Any relevant change will be reflected in this document and, where applicable, on the application listing. Last updated: August 2026.
