Alan’s Moira It takes its name from the Greek word moira (μοῖρα) "destiny" and the English apostrophe of possession (Alan's) thus referring to the fate of its main character Alan. A destination that will play an important role in the history and events that unfold there. The correct translation in Spanish would therefore be "Alan's Fate."
The story takes place in the year 2056, when planet Earth is in decline and, thanks to advances in the space race, the human race has managed to establish a primitive base on Mars with the mission of transforming the planet and adapting it for future colonization at scale.
However, all this is thwarted after the sudden attack of an alien race on Earth, a place from which our young protagonist, about to die, flees. However, he is soon intercepted by another ship. Eventually, he manages to escape to the Martian planet in an escape pod. This is where Alan will begin a tireless fight against the invaders to save the human race.
Developed in just one 3 months part-time, and without any prior knowledge of both video game development and Unity, Alan’s Moira It's my first video game. Thanks to him I have entered the world of video game development and the processes that this implies, developing from scratch the story, dialogues, graphic components, animations, cinematics, AI of the enemies and, in short, everything that goes into the development of a video game.
